A working mother of four, Christiane Agkpo understands wholeheartedly the struggle parents face every day to achieve some type of work/life balance.
After searching to no end, a school system that would provide quality education followed by quality extracurricular activities in the same safe and nourishing environment, she decided to take the matters into her own hands.
After years of research, observations, and analysis of early childhood education and elementary school curriculums and philosophies, Christiane started a small “home school” program. There, she selected and trained her staff, tested out her curriculum and the enrichment programs she developed, prior to opening Leonardo Da Vinci International Academy (LDVIA) in 2018.
Christiane has been dedicated to improving education for over 20 years. The executive director of Montclair Learning Center – a STEM enrichment program for students from preschool to grade 8-, has successfully developed scientific preschool and elementary school level programs.
As of today, MLC offers numerous workshops in New Jersey preschools and elementary schools; and offers an outstanding summer camp each year gathering students from preschool level to grade 8. Prior to that role, she was the executive director of PVF (a French-language school) for 5 years.
Christiane holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and an MBA from Columbia University.
